I was servicing the forks on my wife’s bike today and noticed this warning sticker on the dampener. Pretty sure that should say burn?!

I'll just reply to this, because this thread needs to stay near the top so that everyone can be aware of this critical message.

We may also need to be aware of what brand fork we need to keep away from that area.

Nah, read it in context.

They mean bum - adjective - A of poor quality or nature rather than C not pleasant or enjoyable

Especially since they are telling you not to screw.

It’s a Suntour fork from a Haibike 1.0 fullseven. Hopefully her Rail 7 will arrive next month but until then I thought I’d give it a little treat because she’s put it through more abuse than it was probably designed for.

How did that typo get through quality control?!

The bum quality theory could tally up tho.
