It was truly a Mr Bean moment today when trying to install a SIM in my Amflow PX. I unscrewed the tiny sim cover and it fell directly into the downtube near the battery. I tried shaking the bike upside down like a hulk and it wouldn't come out.

Any advice? I assume I need to drop the motor and battery. Is there likely to be any damage if I leave it in? I'm worried it rubbing against the battery and moisture coming into the control unit via the sim slot. Feel stupid creating so much hassle for myself.

Don't feel bad, I had a nav mount fall apart on a steep slope and had to go on a treasure hunt to find all the parts.

Shake the bike right? Unless there’s something I don’t know.
I’d get it out. Kinda like dropping a screw in the frame. Dropping the motor could be a learning experience.

I’ve fumbled that little screw in the bike cave before …bounced off my toe and under the tool cabinet. Time wasted but lesson learned. 🤦‍♂️

Took it to a bike shop and they fished it out. It was stuck near the head tube, forks had to come out to reach it. Top lads.
