Thought this was interesting. Reviewer riding both choosing amflow overall ride quality and descending over the pivot. I think people group the amflow into this non-capable old geo category, but the thing works really well… he may not be the gnarliest rider, but probably better than a lot of the guys on here. I think the new px is going to be a great buy for a lot of riders.

FC’s reviews are always good. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say after more time on both bikes.

An issue he does not address is service and warranty support. I wonder how that will play out here in the US. I was considering the first version Amflow a while back, but my local shop (highly respected) turned down the offer of an Amflow dealership due to a lack of promised support. The shop does have a strong relationship with Pivot and backs their bikes up.

This is spot on. Make sure you have a bike that can be worked on by a LBS and that they trust they can support for you. My motor blew on my Pivot recently and my LBS had my back.
