Reading mixed reviews of this on campervan and motorbike sites. Poor internal battery life means hard wiring. Has anyone managed to fit one of these to their eBike (e8000 Shimano) I guess you could use the light terminals.

My concerns are space and waterproof status. Seems an OK product for what it is and useful for non iPhone users rather than one of those tags.
