I need some advice on a warranty issue of my fox transfer.
Got a new bike 2 weeks ago, 1st ride the fox transfer goes up and down on its own.
I mailed the bikeshop and they said to replace it.
I send it back and got delivery of the new fox transfer.

Now I noticed straight away the difference on the 2 transfers. Both are from 2024 but the original one was the newer version with air pressure valve where I can adjust the return speed. Also fox claims that it holds 60% better air pressure over time and also what bother me the most is that the new version is fully self serviceable and the old has to go back to fox.

What are the opinions on this matter? Am i being picky or do you agree that they should send me the updated version?

Self serviceable is important imo as I do like to do this stuff my own

Just like in the other thread where you asked the question two weeks ago, my advice is to buy a new Reverb or OneUp. Your new Fox was no good right out of the box, which isn't a rare occurrence. When they replaced it for you, they gave you a lesser model. Now you have two data points that should tell you what you can expect in the future from Fox.

Transfers are junk; I've had two of the pre-24s go south on me.

The new one you originally had is a smidge better. If they have replaced a new one with an old one, I'd 100% not accept it—they are junk and will break just out of their 'oh so generous' 12-month warranty."

Old ones - sak of crap - new ones not terrible but still not great
