Not that I have an issue at all, but just wondering how spoke tension is measured for example if you were building a wheel from scratch.

I know all the spokes should be the same tension and if the wheel is not true you can loosen some or tighten others but what tension should they all be in the first place? How is this measured? What measuring tool would you use?

Is there some kind of spoke torque wrench?

If the wheel is not true, you could tighten a spoke to solve it or you could loosen another spoke to solve it also, but how do you know which option to choose if you can’t measure what they all are?
