5Dev crank arms on Rise

So after the crank arm gate of the E13 arms cracking the spindles. From my understanding the main issue is that the E13 arms were designed for the ep7000 not specifically the ep8 and they had to run a shim to fit them, and they mounted different from the fm900. The hole in the spindle was designed for the em900 arms, and the e13 did not use it and that seems to be where the crack happens. Anyway does anyone know if the 5Dev crank arms are correct for the EP8 and safe to run?

I’ve been using the 5DEV on my Rise for a little over a year. Installation was easy and I’ve had no problems or issues with them. I went with 160’s and it’s been great as far as reducing pedal strikes.

I have been using Samox cranks on my Kenevo for a while, good so far and the don’t cost a lot. They claim to be forged.
