Article 2026 Specialized Levo 4 S-Works makes a big leap

Power is not only about "power" but how it's delivered and all the possibility to adjust parameters to each riders preference.
sure... i'm happy with mine Levo g3 power delivery :)
I focus on descending capabilities more

as I said, I focus on descending (doesn't mean I don't like techy climbs, yes I do them as well - and i know that more power is not needed here, cuz you'll slip your rear wheel or just flip on your back anyway).
so for me advantage is the lighter bike, or at least front. and comparing my Levo to a few Bosch bikes, and I could feel that Bosch batteries were a bit closer to a head tube/or higher as well, and bikes were less maneuverable.

I had a Bosch for a moment as well, and didn't like it. power delivery was a bit abrupt + clanking sounds... not like a "bike"

Like OMG! Is this the first documented case of a carbon bike frame breaking ever?! 😱 🤣

It’s what the warranty is for, I’ve no doubt Specialized will replace the frame or at the very least the rear triangle.

When will it ever end… 🤔
Not under warranty, if it was a hit...

If it was ‘a hit’ then it doesn’t matter anyway does it, it’ll be a crash replacement job the same as on lots of frames.

I’m sure it’ll be covered under a ‘just riding along’ type story though, at least the once…

A big advantage for composites over alloy is that CF can be repaired with laminating resin and progressively wider layups of carbon fiber cloth.

Because I am disappointed by Specialized ! After a long wait they present a UGLY bike with very questionable solutions!
I am sorry for those who do not want to hear about AMFLOW but this is the new generation of E-bike to look at.
If you like a thinly framed awkward looking bike yes. Personally I do not like the look of an amflow at all. That top tube is terrible. 😂

I am interested to know which frame style you prefer, with so many designs there are many to choose from. So could I ask which aesthetics you prefer.

Unno Mith, Orbea Wild (my own). S Works Levo. Cube One:77 super TM. Santa Cruz all of them. To name a few.

I wish I’d waited for the Unno Mith to be honest. But it is what it is. My own bike is fine (when it’s fixed) 😂🤦‍♂️.

This is one of the stupidest videos I've ever seen on the subject. Someone should tell this guy there's an app that can manage Avinox engine maintenance however you want. He can't see it...
He’s a complete F1, all his videos are paid for extremely biased in my opinion. It’s as if he’s paid for to diss DJI motor products. lol

I'm totally on board with your Unno Mith lust :)

You mean like the people in all the Levo threads behaving as if they’re being paid to promote DJI products?! 🤔🤷‍♂️🤣

I must be doing it wrong, I speak positively about the Avinox after riding the bike and yet to be paid. :)

You need to get your invoice in?! 😉🤣

I suspect the difference with you is you’re not on all sorts of other threads spamming your opinion and pointing out that everybody that doesn’t agree with you is wrong?

Honestly, there are people on here who own the Gen4 S-Works who are delighted with them and like how they ride, yet there are a hardcore of Am-ron and Am-alaria fan boys who just won’t have it, and just go out of their way to needlessly antagonise them.

Spot on let's instead trust the well known ones that ain't paid and clearly say it before reviews and/or personal view because it's damn difficult to have a personal opinion, make a buy and be happy.
Actually why not make every ebike the same it would solve the problem.

Don't know if it's good or bad but this video is interesting.
Do you prefer Surron or ebike?

It’s not interesting - it’s sad how much time this absolute goose wastes his time on arguments of Bosch (only Bosch) vs Avinox/DJI. Making arguments about their small differences that are much more applicable to the larger difference between analogue vs all full power e-bikes. He’s a self-hating biker and needs to stop embarrassing himself.

I think his videos are great!

But interesting enough to watch and comment😂

Was there a Specialized price increase in the last few days? I thought tariffs were already done. I was sure the levo 4 comp was around $8500, now showing $9200 on their website.

I was in to test ride one and aesthetics aside, the front end was very heavy to lift/wheelie in eco. I tried the Bullit in eco and it was a little easier. Levo has 840 vs Bullit 600 batt. So felt it was noticeable. Too bad they don't offer the option at purchase to choose lighter batt for levo instead of aftermarket.

Anyway, was there a price increase in last few days?

It is pretty front heavy. I bought a Burgtec Ride High 65mm to try out, it certainly helps when lifting the front, and I haven't had any issues going up either. Interestingly, the new S-Works LTD comes with 55mm high rise bars.

With the understanding the purpose of the thread is to discuss the advances "leaps" with new Spec bikes ie Turbo Levo, so thanks to Pink bikes we have word of another advancement: Here are the highlights...

Remember when your parents told you bikes were the cheap alternative to driving? Specialized disagrees. Their new S-Works Turbo Levo 4 LTD is an e-MTB with a Fox Podium fork, Trickstuff Maxima brakes, titanium Cane Creek cranks, and custom Strata paint… all for the small price of $20,000 USD. That’s more than a brand-new Dacia Spring EV (yes, a literal car with four seats, air conditioning, and license plates).

The bike isn’t even lighter than the “base” $13.5k Levo 4—tipping the scales at 24 kg (53 lb)—but hey, at least you’ll have the satisfaction of telling your riding buddies you spent more on a bicycle than they did on their hatchback.
