Ok, I owned a 2021 M20 but I just bought a new 2024 H30 with the shimano 600 motor. this has a new function over my M20 that I absolutly love and want to use. I hav have up to 5 power modes, eco, 3 trails and 1 boost. this is awesome as i would actually set it for 4 modes having 2 trail modes one with a bit less than normal and one between that and boost. Problem is that I run a Garmin and the Ebike field. It works fine if I run only 3 modes, as soon as I turn on the 3rd and 4th modes the Garmin no longer reports which mode I am in. Any help?

Ok, after lots of frustration, I solved it. in the past the way that worked best was running Jan Capek ebike field. Well for now I will state it will not work. I have reached out but not heard back so hopefully he will get in contact and tell me I am wrong. For now the way to do it is to set up orbea toolbox. In the past I hated this option as it set up a a single data field on its own screen and you could not alter it. Now it seems to be happy to set up on a larger size field on your normal screen so you will see all the modes and the battery level in a percentage not the stupid bar graph.

Ok, did a ride and yes it worked, however the cadence is not reading? Using the Ebike field it should read cadence, as it did on my old one, but it is not. Maybe the orbea toolbox is interfering, but I would rather see the assist over the cadence and I could install a cadence sensor...
