2023 merida e160 shimano screen replacement

hi people
i have a 2023 merida e160 500 with the shimano ec5003 display to control everything i amwanting to upgrade it so i can use the e tube app and change settings something lie the e7000 display is this possible if so what would i need to purchase to do so

The E7000 display uses SD50 connectors while the EM800 uses the newer SD300 which (I think!) the E5003 uses as well. You’ll also need a separate assist switch. You may be able to hook up a junction box instead to get Bluetooth.
