While replacing my callipers I had to replace the existing brake hose by attaching the new to the existing hose with a barb and while pulling it through it detached itself.

So Im now trying to feed the hose from the rear and into the rear chainstay. But I cant get through the chainstay.

Ive dropped the motor.

Is it just a case of persistence until I manage to find the way out of the chainstay or has anyone got a quick fix and/or tips and advice. All welcome!

Help!

Thanks

Yeah that sucks. Probably to late now but I’ve carefully used a push/pull technique (with the barb) after I’ve dropped the motor.

Patience. I’ve routed hoses through the chain stay and used a sharp prick to guide the hose (once I saw the end) through the small hole. Took a few tries but eventually I got it. Cap the end of the hose so no debris gets in there.

when I did my 2024 H30 I super glued the barb to old and new hoses and pushed on old hose more than I pulled on new one. I got lucky where I did not have to drop the motor or battery

I'm about to attempt this on my 2024 H30, don't really want to drop the motor so hopefully the Rise has internal channels to guide the brake hose through or it just one big open cavity in the downtube?

I do not think its tube in tube internal routing. Use the reverb barb, superglue it to both new and old hoses and push old hose more than pull on new hose and go from back to front. It will hang up near the motor as it is tight fit and hopefully once you get past the motor it will be easier.
