Seems the new 2021 SL is now up on the site Turbo Levo SL Expert Carbon | Specialized.com

Expert has a nice change to the 36 Grip 2 and DPX2 rear shock. XO1 now instead of GX but no carbon wheels. $475 more than last year.

I hope the SL frame only option becomes available in the U.K I think this will definitely be the way forward for me.
and yes it is the same as the other carbon SL frames.

NOPE, cant see any possible reason to spend $6500 on a frame with the same motor as the base model just because its made out of PLASTIC!!!

I’d have taken that frame only option in a heartbeat if it’d been available back in Feb and in the UK.

I’ve pretty much changed everything on my Expert - and that frame comes with a much better rear shock, and carbon cranks.
Seems a good deal to me!

yeah, I've got quite a few parts I could donate to that frame to help build it up to an S-works spec for much much cheaper than the S-Works bike price.

I think that page might be a "work in progress" - my SL Comp (which I assume is 2021 spec) came with Guide RE brakes, so other specs on there might be subject to revision too.

That frameset price is insane, Better to get a Carbon Comp and sell the parts you dont want - its the same frame at the end of the day.

I doubt you are going to get 2 Grand for the parts off a carbon comp they are poor quality that no one wants?
