Are people replacing their Shimano D03S brake pads with Genuine Shimano or any of the aftermarket options.

I go aftermarket. There are some good local manufacturers in UK, like Uber and they do all sorts of formulations.

agree, I like discobrake sintered.. also liked galfer purple pads

I haven`t tested all aftermarket pads but some and found Galfer purple pads, never gonna use anything else than those, works in every situation, are quiet and lasts long.

I ran purple pads once, wasnt impressed with how quickly they wore out, performance was good, happy with the much cheaper discobrake sintered.

The 'Galfer' brake pads have been recommended by many on the Orbea Wild Facebook page as well. So will go with these and see how I get on.

There is also a D03S-RX
