2021 160 HPC SL fork upgrade to 180mm?

Hey guys,

i recently started to think about replacing the fork on my 160 HPC SL 2021 (ZEB charger R 170mm).

found out that they're selling 2023 180mm ZEB Ultimate with new charger3 rc2 for about 750e which is great price (considering i can sell my current ZEB for around 200-300) and a nice upgrade to new damper/airspring.

Only thing that kind of bothers me is how much effect (negative) would it have on the geometry of the bike.

Why not just upgrade your current damper instead? It's a straight forward out and in job.
Do you really feel you need that 10mm extra travel?

It's all about the price. I was thinking about 180mm because it is currently on sale.

sure I thought about just swapping the internals.

The damper itself will cost 300€ + new debonair+ air spring (100€) and nobody even knows when they will be available. i might still go this way if they get them in stock.

Just run with a little more sag. That will eat up some of the extra mm for sure.
