Picked up my 2020 Levo Expert today (currently got a Kenevo and had a 2017 Levo Expert)

The swat tool is now in the steerer tube and has the built in chain link removal tool but the bottom plate part that sits at the bottom of the steerer tube dosent have any quick links in it and hasn't been drilled to store them in

Here is a pic of the complete swat tool from Specialized website

Now here is a pic of the bottom plate from my 2020 Levo Expert's swat tool

As you can see there is no quick links there or any way to attach some

Anyone else's like this?

Weird. My 2020 SWorks came with the extra link like the top photo.

As far as I know only the S Works has the one with space for the link because this one is the version with the chain tool. The ones with the blind plate don't hav a chain tool integrated (all non S Works) al least that was the case for the 2019 models.

I just bought a new one from specialize the other day and it has the holes and magnet in it.

My 2019 Expert had the basic SWAT tool (no chain tool or link storage) but there was an issue with the top cap which made it impossible to open (over tightened during manufacturing). Anyway, the warranty replacement turned up as the one with the chain tool and link storage - I’m guessing Specialized don’t stock / sell the basic version and these just come as original equipment on the non S-works models.

How does this chain tool inside the SWAT™ CONCEAL CARRY MTB TOOL look like? I just cannot see it from above images nor imagine how it works ... Thanks!

Edit: I googled pictures of this tool and I think I found explainatory picture, so this tool seems to be to disconnect/connect removable rivet chains, not chains with quick/master link:

Yes it removes chain links and has a spot for quick links. You’ll need a seperate chain breaker tool.
