So over the weekend I thought I’d found a bargain 625wh power tube battery for my Trek Rail 9, whoop, whoop.
I duly purchased the battery off the seller £450 who informed me it was his second battery and has hardly ever been used, which, I can confirm, it looks absolutely pristine condition with no dirt in the contacts or crevices.
I then found out the difference between horizontal mounting and vertical mounting batteries, and although essentially it is the same battery as mine, the contacts for connector that directly connects to the bike are 90° out, so this is a horizontal mounting battery
The Bosch product code is in the picture, it may fit other Scott Bikes, but I’m looking to cut my losses and offering it for £420, Bargain for someone, lesson learnt ?
