2018 Specialized Levo Comp - chain falling off

Hiya - anyone else had issues with their chain coming off? I have already replaced a bent derailier and now need another due to the issue. The chain seems to jump off when i am going downhill, over rough ground. The chain guide is on, and as low as it can go to. Yesterday, it came off 4 times during the ride, and previously 3 times last ride. Its always come off, even when the bike was new. Any ideas?

Maybe the chain is too long and the tension is too weak? Afaik it should have 116 links.

Get a mech with a clutch also xt works well enough

Does your rear mech have a clutch and is it switched on?

Its a SRAM GX 1x11 long cage rear mech that came with the bike - its all 100% standard win NO mods. On the mech body, it says it has a roller bearing clutch....if that helps. And there is no switch.

I'm having the same issue on my Kenevo. Same GX derailleur. I'm wondering if it's due to the chain which is, according to my LBS, a bit stretched but not needing replaced quite yet.
