battery cover

Hello everyone, I have trek rail 9.7 carbon. I saw a video where a guy made a carbon cover for his rail. Has anyone done something like this? I'm thinking of trying to make myself a similar thing out of carbon. Has anyone tried it or know where to buy and at what price?
