You can indeed use 21700 cells width ways. I've made a 13s4p pack that mounts to an aluminium plate that picks up on the existing mounting holes.

I've made many packs over the years. I wouldn't be happy with this one, corners have been cut - and the soldering iron tip wasn't big enough or hot enough.

@Waynemarlow I'm not picking holes, but can I ask what size wire you've used from the cells to the BMS? I usually use 12 AWG for anything up to 30A, yours looks a bit small but could be a deceiving picture.

So only another £750-800? I was just highlighting for clarification, not having a go 👍

Or wheels, tyres, dropper, drivetrain. All the other really expensive bits 🤪
