I bought a Hope post mount for the front of my bike but only because I fitted bigger rotors, if I didn't fit bigger rotors, the front calliper would have fitted straight onto my old sram post mount, I know this because I tried it with the smaller rotor first, just out of curiosity, the back...
I chose Tech4 V4, it was an absolute doddle threading the hose through the frame, took all of a minute using a Sram barb tool, just used the old hose to pull the new hose through, I bought a new grommet for my frame as the old one had two holes and I only needed one, that was a lot more...
Shit, they'll be working overtime on my bike then pal :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: i've checked out the Hope headsets I have and they seem to have good seals, I know Hope seem to over engineer things but only for the good, I ride mainly in the Peak District so they'll need to have good seals;)
Sorry Mike, I missed your reply mate, thanks for adding this info, not everyone is a Hope tart and will undoubtedly find the info helpful if they need other than Hope bearings 🙏😉
If anyone is interested in getting some of these bearing kits for their bike from Hope, the ones I was told to get from Hope are the (upper)44mm HSC2 and the (lower) 56mm HSCE kits, you will need a cup removal tool and a bearing cup press, these are what Hope told me to buy, check first and...
I know I should know the answer to this question but does the warranty cover the bike in miles or age, mine is a 2020 e150rs as well, I've got a clicking sound on my bike which I think is either the headset bearings, the AXS dropper or my tracker battery which has come loose and is swinging...
I have been looking at fitting new headset bearings and as I’m a bit of a Hope tart I naturally looked at the Hope headsets, I just wondered if anyone has fitted any of these on their e150s/rs but more specifically the Pick ‘n’ Mix range, and was it a straight forward upgrade
Much appreciated for the link mate, like I said to Steve, I’m going to strip my bike down and have a look at the existing stuff I my head tube and make a decision on what to do next 🙏👍
I very much appreciate your feedback Steve and taking the time to type all that information mate, I think what I’m going to do is, WHEN, my eyes are finally sorted out, and I can see clearly, I’m going strip my bike down and look at the condition of the other parts (not just the bearings) and...
I have looked online at headset bearings but there’s nothing better than a recommended product, I have a 2020 V1 e150rs, I want some bearings but not cheap bearings, just a decent pair that’ll last a few years, so any recommendation for a pair would be great and possibly a link please 👍
Thanks Mike, yeah it’s beautiful in the Peak District, so many places to ride, the clicking sound is definitely something on my bike although I don’t know what yet, once my eyesight has been sorted I will investigate it more, I think it’s got something to do with my saddle or my dropper post...
Thanks Mike, as you can see I read what you typed and took it all on board, I thank you for your reply and help, I copied the URL and that worked fine, my FUBAR was my impatience and forgetting that my video will be released at 4.00 pm today 😁 the words “DUMB ASS”spring to mind
