Apologize for my ignorance. Garmins allow for on the fly route planning? I thought it was necessary to import a route into a Garmin, from a phone or a laptop?

What about the breaking rear hubs? Was there a reason for omitting that issue?

Sorry, not mechanically inclined... From the photos it seems the entire axle was replaced - not just the freehub. Is that right? So the wheels had to be re-spoked?

The Devinci ebikes come with these wheels: DT Swiss - H 1700 SPLINE® 35 Can't decide whether I should get a Giant e-trance and replace the real wheel with the above; or just go for a Devinci AC.

What do you mean by the rear hub being "slightly loose"?

I think I could still order an e-trance, but only if Giant in advance would promise me to replace a failed Giant wheel with a "DT SWISS H1700 27.5 12X148MM, TL READY, 35MM INTERNAL " - the same wheel as the Devinci.

This freehub problem is a major issue. Ticking time bomb for rear hub failure. Don't understand how Giant, such a large bike company, manufacturing bikes for so long, could design and release bikes with such wheels. Wheels are not a new invention. Have been waiting for one these Giant e-trance...

So there are issues with both the Giant Ride Control app and the Specialized Mission Control app. I guess these apps are not so easy to get right.
