This is Really interesting, I am looking to locate the Giant Service tool and see if its possible to derestrict via UK-US settings as well as changing the wheel circumference. The difficulty is finding the Giant Service Tool BLE key.

Has anyone used this on a Giant? I have a 2020 Trance E+3 and was considering it. Does it mess up the Ridecontrol app? (which isn't especially clever anyway!)

I think that’s bang on. Ideally that’s what auto mode should do. It seems it just is setup with too much assist. We need an “enough” auto mode.

Ok so it seemed to be the way I was riding. I went to do the same trail again using a higher cadence and manually choosing power rather than auto. Did the route with 60% left. It seems auto is a massive drain.
