So when fully derestricted which of the latest 2022 onwards motors is best ? When restricted i love the Power of the Bosh but i want to raise the speed limit and from what i have seen Bosh Smart System is probably the trickiest and the one to cause an issue….. Anyone ridden Ep8 vs Brose 2.2...

It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything new regards de-restriction of the EP8 ….. I see Redped and Speedbox now offering plug and play units, has anyone successfully fitted one yet ? Ep8 js a lovely smooth motor but needs more power or speed imo….

Spoke to my lbs who made a call to shimano U.K. regarding changing location there response was very clear, it will void your warranty regardless of the motor issue and if it relates to the changes that have been made. They were very short and to the point about it. I think that’s ridiculous...
