ABS Always Be Steering as someone preach to me. ABS takes longer to stop but retains steering control.
I had a track car on semi slicks I missed ABS on public damp winter roads. Never missed it only rally car even on ice I do have a brake bias adjust and far less likely to encounter something...

closer look at the specs not much talk of how the wireless shifter works or even people talking about the wireless shift
Oh not wireless at all.. it's a wired shifter powered from the bikes battery...
All I wanted with a rear mech/dropper powered by bike battery and maybe some clever interruption shift where it knew to shift at the top or bottom of a crank stroke to save crunching.
I ment 3rd party versions of shimanos freeshift or will they keep it a closed/forbidden system. I doubt they...
To me this feel like an apple move with closing off of its system. Like shimano have gone from PC's to Consoles i.e. no upgrade paths any more. I do wonder if 3rd parties can make their own products to work with it.
A little disappointed personally because I have the 'old' ep8 🤷♂️ and shimano...
So delete if necessary not allowed and I've no idea if this is true but; After GMBN youtube spoke about wireless on the yeti emtb's I looked around and found this site the live page was taken down but the cache version remains;

Shimano to Launch New Shifting Modes and Groupsets for...
Nah most of this is software, either the manufacturers will do it or some 3rd party will edit the software for maximum performance.
I could see walk mode beign used on a hill climb as anti-stall (tbh I'm surprised no ones not ones been caught with their walk mode set to do 25kph)
Bosch are...
Interesting. All I can think of is the parallel to motor sports where power won races but doesn't necessary equal a fun car to drive. There was also a hell of a lot of cheating going on.. but that's just racing.
The benefit to regular emtb users is trickle down effect from manufacturers...
I regert waiting for my E2 Dec pre-order (still no confirmed dates in the UK) Should have bought a vitus back in feb/march. My experience with Marin has been a massive let down.
I would keep it for your son and occasional loaner for a friends in the mean time. In a few years the bike will fit him well enough and be worth less. Insurance for the piece of mind, a good amount of beware coaching and cover the fancy logos with stickers so its more of a sleeper. Sad fact is...
I like the sound of Hope hubs but more important is engagement (I dont like the feel of the pedal falling), I spin the cranks while pedalling for quite, slow pedal gives a nice audible warning to walkers and a wizzing stukka diver bomber of terror when you catch up to you mates on a DH run :D
heat stroke is no fun it sneaks up on you (normally just after dinner), After having for the first time I found myself much more sensitive to heat, but I find I'm ok on a bike even full gear as long as I'm cycling.
I find myself moaning like goldie locks about the weather with the UK's big...
Even squirting some one with a garden hose/water bottle can be considered assault. It sucks, just remember 99% of these things it's your word against theirs best to choose your words very carefully when giving a description to the police, or you could find yourself admitting to an offence ?♂️...

Security - I have mixed feelings over immobilisers/bricking but I think they are needed perhaps make...
For trail snacks I prefer malteasers. Also in through the nose, out through the mouth (air not the malteasers).
Along the tow path at some points during the year we get thick fog of midges and the local park is swampy most of the year resulting in Daddy Long Leg sized Mozzers. These were a...
You guys probably remember this edit for clarilty; this was post here/bike forums a while back as an example it illustrates how easily carrying a weapon can spiral:

If someone where to try to steal my bike then I cant say 100% how I would react. In the past as I mention I wasn't afraid to stand up for what was mine. But it's important to provide a balanced argument not just willy waving.
I have 3 dependants and don't feel like sh*tting in a bag the rest of...
