Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Quick update. I may end up starting a different thread, as the following is somewhat delving into "DIY" territory. But. I am now learning about 48v battery packs which uses the same dimensions and potentially the same battery mounting design as the existing BTF16 630wh battery. I'm awaiting...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Quick update, I'm slowly getting details as to particular parts on both the E-Mythique and E-Sentier. Please kindly bear with me. I'll update the thread further, once I've got confirmation as to who and where you need to go for parts👍🏿

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

More than likely @skismith . Increasing voltage usually increases efficiency in terms of flow of energy from battery to motor. Although on a personal note, I am curious whether the BTF16 630wh battery can still discharge at -20°😅

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

It's difficult to say at this point @skismith . Usually, I prefer to have concrete data to verify any facts if I'm comparing. The only Bosch Gen4 emtb which I have (which is rideable as I'm awaiting for parts on a side project build) is my Whyte E150 which has been set up as a mullet E160...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

...As always Zimms, it's a pleasure to bump paths with you the forum....again!! It's up to you if you want to believe that I'm bullsh**ing you. I won't waste your time (or mine), convincing you otherwise. Because 'clearly', you have access TO THIS!!! So perhaps I'll take my leave from this...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Just as I thought!! A 32t chainring works better on the E-Mythique LT compared to the 34t. I'll obviously use a better chainring, as this one cost me £7 (alloy chainring NOT STEEL). But the mechanical advantage (in conjunction with the parameter amendments of the M510 motor), have definitely...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Yes. I am now running the E-Mythique level 5 (Race Mode) at 500% with acceleration set to 6. Naturally, the over-run feature has increased. But This Is only for the highest level of assist👍🏿

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Apologies for the delay Jimmy. I have been told by others that it is getting increasingly more difficult to set up an account with Bafang to use the BESST Tool. I set mine up near 2 years ago, in anticipation of building up the Dengfu E10. But it wasn't straight forward. Whilst I'm a bit...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

I'm pretty sure the torque sensors on the M510 models are the same, regardless of the generation. Amending the startup angle from 15° to 8° is noticable, as the motor can engage quicker from standstill. Think of it like a rear hub with more points of engagement👍🏿

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

It's possible Dado. I've refrained from comparing the E-Mythique Lt to the E10 (too many discrepancies). But I'm still tinkering with the E-Mythique Lt. So I'll share my findings. Amending the startup angle to 8° has DRASTICALLY!! improved the bike's performance👍🏿

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

I'm slowly playing around with each setting. Moreso, the startup angle. I recall you mentioned before that thr motor responded too slow in eco, eco+ and trail. I have found that by reducing the angle to 10°, does improve pedal response from stand still. I wouldn't mind experimenting with the 32t...

...and suddenly, the motor's behavior makes sense!!!

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

Curious!!! Vitus state that their custom firmware on the M510 only allows the motor to achieve a maximum power of 550w. Ordinarily because it's using a 36v battery, I believed them. However, the Bafang Go app showed the motor achieving 700w when in the highest level of assist. With...

    Suntour suspension...any good?

Suntour Durolux forks are pretty decent. They are on the heavier side compared to other brands. But on a full-fat emtb, I don't think it matters as much. I've got no experience with the Zenon, Auron or Aion Forks or the Triair shocks. But the Suntour Durolux and RUX forks are decent. One of...

Its 2024. So where are the frameset emtb options from all the big brands?

This question has been asked way too often. So I'm starting this thread to DELIBERATELY challenge brands who feel obliged to only offer complete builds for emtbs, knowing that a vast majority of riders are buying entry level emtbs options within a given model and upgrading them to a...
