Hey everyone just picked up my first emtb a 2019 kenovo

It’d be fun to try as a mullet, last time I ride mine, was thinking I prefer a mullet now.

Hope/dt Swiss is good combo, but probably cost more than you paid for the bike. A take off wheel set from someone upgrading might be a cheaper option. They’re not mulleted at standard, is that something you’re planning?

Do the electric bits work? Rear shock is incredibly tough, they just keep on working

    Fox factory 38

It’ll be fine, they are very adjustable. You can always get a custom damper tune if it’s not working for you.

Looking for the Top Dog emtb

It looks like a great bike, but unfortunately Nukeproof have gone under, so I wouldn’t expect any warranty support.

First time emtb owner here. What tyre set up are you riders running for the UK winter (Mullet set up.)

Typically MM/Butcher or Shorty/MM, depending how wet the winter is. MM is my preference really.

Marzzocchi Z2 fork on Orbea Urrun no damper adjustment knob but at least I got a sticker with instructions 😁

Is it ex demo? Looks like it’s had a rock strike and snapped the adjuster off. Witness marks on the bottom of the fork:

Massively complex question - should I buy EMTB and if so, which one?

As far as I know, there’s no objective scale for measuring fun, it’s always going to be an opinion, although most share the opinion that lighter bikes are more fun to ride downhill. The only place I’ve found the ksl less fun than my full fat Kenevo is on technical e-bike climbs, the sort of...

About to pop my ebike cherry

The stories on here about a customer with a broken bike going back to the manufacturer/lbs, who couldnt help and pointed at shimano, who couldn't help and pointed at the manufacturer/lbs has pretty much set my mind that I will not buy anything with a shimano motor, at least until there's a load...

Massively complex question - should I buy EMTB and if so, which one?

KSL is a lot of fun to ride, the weight saving over a full fat e-bike more than makes up for the lower powered motor, downhill it’s one of the best bikes I’ve ridden, uphill it’s got enough power to drag you up fire roads, although it’s not as fun on steep technical climbs as a full fat.

Yes. Once you’ve got it pointed down a trail, you won’t notice it.
