Yeah I don't really understand why Cannondale were so against allowing they shop to access the file that would have allowed the wheel to register the correct speed. Particularly given that NZ don't even have a law that won't allow the use of derestricting. Anyway speedbox has done the trick, and...
I am not sure how you would propose to set the circumference. Even my 2.8 dhf was quite a few kph off even when maxed out at the smallest allowable wheel setting. I would be extremely interested to know if your shop managed to get a setting change from Bosch or Cannondale. My guys could not
No unfortunately I couldn't. I elected to go with a speedbox and solar I have done a bit over 6000 ks problem free. I have also heavily modified and run 200 mm boxxers and 185 mm rear by changing the rear pick up link. However just a straight mullet without changing anything else was the biggest...
I stand corrected I really thought the 36 would rub on chainstay. In your case the 36 makes perfect sense. For my riding a 34 coupled with an 11 50 cassette works pretty well.
Wow not sure what tracks you would be riding to warrant a 36 even with a delimiter. Anyway not sure it would work as there is bugger all space between chainring and chainstay even with standard ring
That's a good point. I have not had to get one yet as Bosch covered the first one under warranty and I am still waiting an answer on this the second motor however the key I think is to periodically check that bolts don't loosen which I am afraid probably means dropping the motor more than you...
There are two alloy mounting brackets attached with 5 mm bolts on each side tat the top of the motor and the main motor bolts are fastened into that bracket. It's the 5mm bolts that can loosen and if you are not careful they can break. Unfortunately you need to drop the motor in order to check...
Yeah they are a great bike. Brilliant frame and suspension design well worth modifying to suit your particular riding style. Your upgrades sound well thought out. Good choice of wheels. Keep an eye on the internal motor mounts I have just broken a 2nd one and they are known to come loose. It's a...
Found a way to get 185mm on rear. It's a magic carpet ride now. All that was required was a pickup link from a acoustic habit and voila. I can't imagine a better riding bike. Bottom bracket height is at 160 which I think is a sweet spot. Head angle somewhere between 63.5 and 64
The lt looks great but I think I am happy to stick with my 2020 moterra . Mulleted with a boxxer fitted. Rides great but looking for a way to get more rear travel just to help balance it out a bit. Currently 200 front 160 rear. It's pretty bloody good but reckon It could be made even better
Hmm. I have not heard of anyone going back to longer cranks after trying shorter. I am on 160s but I am sure I would be happy on 155s maybe even 150s. I would have to experiment a bit to find out where my too short cutoff is
Thanks but unfortunately even with a 2.8 tyre the setting won't allow you to even get close.
I get a bit more kickback on my Moterra than I do on my zerode
Why would you think it doesn't warrant discussion? Are you of the belief that you should never be allowed to modify your bike in any way for fear of warranty being rescinded. If that is the case then you have no real need to comment
Have a good day sir. I am off riding now will check in later
Been down this route. The allowable circumference when taken to its smallest allowable wheelsize still has an almost 3 kph difference to actual as measured in comparison with other bikes and my Garmin gps
