I'd like to get some wide ultra softs for fall. Schwalbe 2.6 are a fair bit wider than my current 2.6 spesh grid gravity. Prob bb rear/mm front. I liked the bb f/r but for fall i think the mm front makes more sense. We're getting some precip

I tried to get some. No stock at the canadian distributor. I havent found any online dhops with them either. Commencal canada had a few options but nothing that i was looking for. The vee rubber site lists a bunch of options for the flow snaps. A variety of casings and compounds and 2.35 or 2.6...

Im not sure how wide the verdicts measure. I have bb 2.6 f and 2.4 rear. The 2.4 is wider than a michelin or maxxis 2.4. Nice tires. Bike park killed the soft compound pretty quick. Soft front still looks new

I ended up getting a dh22. Crazy how much grip that rubber has. Ill keep running a 34 and 22 in dh casing in some type of combo after i find a 22 in 29" for the front. Still i wish they made the 22 and 34 in a 2.5 or 2.6 option. No unwanted flex in their sidewall or beads, they above any tire...

I havent found anything bad about my soft compound bb up front in a 2.6. All conditions its been awesome. No deep mud but wet days thtough to hard pack and blown out moon dust its been great. Id like to try a ultra soft up front too. I'd imagine it would be even better on rock skabs and wet...

Big betty is a great tire. Ive found it needs a little more lean in the corners but now that im used to it and its faultless. Just a touch more lean than the mich dh 34 i was used to. Super dh rear and super gravity front in soft for rocky dh terrain with long vertical. Both are soft. They do...

Casing and tread pattern , rubber compound make a huge difference. You didnt say which casing, compound or which maxxis tread/model. Hard to base any decision on that

True that. Smashed a derailler off at the bike park. My preferred lbs has no 12s shimano der's. They said may '22. Other store had one that i snapped up and ordered a deore 12sp off ebay just to have

Exo+ arent very durable if youre in rocky terrain. Not a bad tire combo. You might just need a dd casing verion. I like dh casing then i can vary the psi for the terrain im on. 30psi in the bike park and mid 20's if im on rock slaps pr wet roots(75kg). If you want to try something new in 2.6...

Bead tightness varys a lot between different tires, even among the same tire models. Bead manuffacturing tolerance definitely isnt an exact science

Dry id take the dhf, loam or deep dusrt where you need braking the big bettuy brakes and is very predictable, mm if itll be wet and or deep dust. I have my 2.6 on a 30mm imner rim. I think itd be even better on a 35mm inner. It was a risk putting it on the front but its been great edgy but not...

Mount the cush core up on a rainy day this weekend on the enduro bike and put these grid gravity casing 2.6's on the decoy in a couple weeks. Had them in stock at the lbs so figure i better stock up for bike park opening ??

I definitely have to try some. Not sure when ill get a chance as all my wheels have tannus or vittoria atm. 11-1200g sidewalls have been durable enough for me, i just prefer the corner support of dh casing tires. I guess the question would be would a 1200g tire with cushcore measure up to a...

I like that tannus liner with the small tube system idea but modern tubeless tires arent the easiest to swap constantly even with just a tube. Some go on ez but a lot are a royal pain, especially dh casing and also rim dependant. My deciy is a mullet and my enduro bike is a 9er that i also have...

You probably want to focus on the casing, and/or weight, more than the model. 850g is exo, 950 exo+, 1150dd, 1300dh roughly in maxxis. Other companies will have most of those equivalent. Pick your tread and durometer for your local dirt and your casing for preferred protection. All those tires...

If i had my preference id go WT front and back with 30mm inner. I wouldnt stress it if they werent WT though, 30mm will accomodate both fine. The non WT/original will be a touch more edgy tread(side knobs will sit a touch higher and thats not a bad characteristic for a front tire) and the newer...

WT is for new wider profile rims. 30mm inner qualifies but thats kind of the tween width. WT might be a bit better on the front to give it more edge but 30mm isnt super wide either. Little more leeway on rhe rear where a bit rounder tire profile is ok
