It out of sync. Put some real pressure on the cranks and it will jump 1 tooth to sync the narrow wide. Or lift the chain up and move it 1 tooth front or rear.
Slipped off a 1 foot high log on a creak crossing at 5 mph.
Ordered spare parts with the kit. Should be back up and running today. We will see how it shifts.
I got to ride the new Sram T last night and the shifting was excellent. Significantly better than the old AXS and I would rate it above Shimano too. Shifts are very smooth and since there is no feedback from a cable, you don't feel anything. Overall it's the best shifting Sram has ever made...
In the last 20 years I've bent hangers 40ish times and only destroyed 1 derailleur. Most of the time I just bent them back. I always take a hanger on trips as it's small and easy to bring. I've seen 20+ derailleurs destroyed by riding buddies.
Same as current AXS.
The problem I see is that they removed the fuse that is the hanger. Now that energy can't be dissipated into a cheap part.
I'm not going to get it and I don't really think it's the best design. It is innovative and I can see some benefits for people that don't or can't...
How you treat your chain and the lube that you use will have a dramatic impact on your chain life. It only takes a ride with displaced lube to damage the sliding parts leading to premature wear. It's good that the OP has found dry Teflon lube works great for him. I agree and use finish line...
