    Do you need wife's permission?

Every woman has a bit of crazy. Mine is that she's as tight as a sharks bum at 40 fathoms. How tight is that? water tight! So matters of money are interrogated. I'm sure yours will have a crazy in another area. If not, you better check for an adams apple. She might be a dude!

    Do you need wife's permission?

Hehehhe, there is also the the advance warning technique. "I'm thinking about buying a new bike later in the year"..... I get a bit of angst, but not much because I havent done anything yet. By the time the bike purchasing goes ahead the missis has had enough time to process the idea and go...

Then you have a heavy slow piece of shit. I'm not interested in turned off e bikes or an ebike on eco for that matter. If im going the same or similar speeds to mtb I'd rather ride my mtb which is fun, playful and a gas to ride. Going fast on a e..... oh yeah bring it on!

So, did you keep or sell your non eMTB? Any regrets?

The reason the mtb feels twitchy and weird is because if you riding one bike exclusively. That happens no matter what biked you have. The bigger the gap between the biked the more pronounced the feel. To stop that feeling you need to ride the other bikes often. Then you will be able to switch...

So, did you keep or sell your non eMTB? Any regrets?

Chur! Yeah. I still really enjoy the mtb. Its lighter, more playful and poppy and more fun down the certain types of tracks. It also gives good high intensity heart rate work outs, plus i still have a mtb crew that I ride with. The E smashes the chunk, burns out laps and is a point and shoot...

    Decision to buy a ebike

Bosch is the best motor out there at the moment, 750wh gives good range, low milage is good for second hand e-bikes as you don't have a warrantee. I wouldn't touch a high milage emtb. Battery and engine replacements are the most expense things to replace on an E bike. PS never heard of the...

    Which drivetrain?

I just ripped off gx 12 speed ans replaced it with 11sp xt linkglide. Gx lasted mw 1600km in the winter mud. the full linkglide set up cost the same at a gx cassette and chain. Linkglide shifts better and doesn't turn to shit in the mud. I've got about 15 hours on the l8nk glide thus far.

Thinking about getting an analogue bike, how do they compare to an emtb?

Of course the mtb will suck going up hill. But it will be more playfully and fun downhill. If you are the kind of guy that pushes hard on the e-mtb to go fast and maxes your heart rate out hammering then you would find the mtb fun. If you are the type of ebiker that uses the Motor so you...

    Thru Axle Maintenance?

PS. The axle is completely fine. It just needs a clean up and re-grease.

    Thru Axle Maintenance?

That is fine particles of dirt and grit build up through lack of removal of axle for months if not years. Clean in up, Grease it up, remove every month or 2 to inspect and clean. Job done.

    Trail Riding?

Usually there is a squirrel catcher at the start. That's a difficult feature that if you cant do it..... you shouldn't attempt the rest of the track.

    Trail Riding?

Red would be the proline or some crazy ass technical like that some silly ass technical features that cannot be ridden around. Some bike parks use red some don't. Also there is a wild variance in how bike parks grade their tracks.
