FWIW, Wolftooth drop stop B chainrings are specifically compatible as stated on their website. I have one and it works perfectly. I don't have a Sram t-type ring for comparison. I have tried other rings I have lying around and I will say they all seem to fit the chain okay but snug. the Wolf...
I’m running the RS Ultimate air with a megneg can. Love it. Ran it back to back with the X2 and found the RS as good or better. Plush, supportive and planted. No regrets. Been thinking of trying a coil but I do run a cascade link and Cascade state they prefer an air shock with the link.
Not the Superdeluxe but I did try the Deluxe Ultimate with the magneg. I liked it. Seemed to be a little more plush with good mid stroke support (no wallow like the DPS). Eventually went with an X2 which is fantastic but resulted in a noticeable increase in pedal strikes. Cascade link...
Hve not tried the super deluxe but did try the deluxe select+ with a meg neg. I liked it much better than the DPS (better on small bumps, supportive yet more plush). Currently using a Fox X2 (2022 210x52.5) with a cascade link. Without the link I was having a lot more pedal strikes and had to...
Just to chime in here. I went from the Fox 34 to a Lyrik (SL Carbon Comp). Upgraded the Lyrik to a charger 2.1 damper. Found a good deal on a Mezzer Expert so decided to give it a try. I am very impressed with the Mezzer. Plush yet supportive and easy to setup and adjust. Very happy with...
As I recall, my wheels without tires were 2080g. The rims alone are 555 Each. I rebuilt the wheels with dtswiss 350 hubs and Sapim Race spokes. I put Schwalbe G1 tires on them for riding on pavement. The rims are actually pretty nice.
According to the user manual: The headset uses a 1 1/8" (41.8 x 30.5 x 8mm, 45 x45 degree) Campagnolo Standard compatible upper bearing and a 1.5" (52mm x 40 x 7mm, 45x45 degree) lower bearing. No tools are needed for installation or removal of both bearings. Grease bearing surfaces before...
Just thought I would share a cool DI2 solution. Zirbel (Zirbel.ch) makes a magnetic shifter that mounts inside of a Wisent carbon handle bar. The shift ring mounts on the outside of the bar. The di2 battery mounts on the inside of the other side of the bar. All the wires except the...
First post here. I just installed new carbon cranks today. Do not remove the outer ring requiring a cassette tool. Just use a 8mm Hex to remove the crank. It's self extracting. If you remove the outer ring with the cassette tool, it won't self extract. BTW, these are installed at 50nm...
