    More power, more torque?

I don't worry about what everyone else is doing... I get a sense from your comment that it's probably a need in your case, go for a ride or two with the motor switched off, it'll strengthen your legs a little.

    More power, more torque?

I see it as a want as opposed to need, "if it's available, I want it" attitude. I know a few people who have an original Amflow with M1 100+Nm motor, this was the best thing since sliced bread, they had to dial the motor back to allow riding buddies to keep with them, now the newer M2/M2s...

    More power, more torque?

This, I'm sure will be controversial... I've just returned from a great ride, a 20 mile loop through the Leicestershire countryside, including 3 country parks, plenty of ups and downs. I was riding my Mondraker Crafty with a Bosch gen 4 motor. Here it comes, It only has 85Nm and 600w!!! I...

Which replacement dropper seat post cable?

Must be an issue with the dropper or lever? I've used at least five different brands of dropper and numerous dropper levers, zero issues with using derailleur cable, inner or outer.

Which replacement dropper seat post cable?

That's strange, every dropper I've fitted, I've used derailleur cable. Are you getting confused with brake cable?

Which replacement dropper seat post cable?

Isn't calling a gear cable a dropper cable just a reason to increase the price?

Spectral:on fork (and rear brake) change

Yes just changed lever end to Shimano olive and barb, both use mineral oil, I just topped up with some Magura fluid that I had, no issues at all. I find this setup more powerful than the full Shimano systems that I have on other bikes.

Shimano XTR front brake makes strange noise on new bike

I get the same noise with my front brake using a Galfer rotor, it's just the holes in the rotor, nothing to worry about

    New chain flapping making noise

If you've changed the chain and cassette it can only be the chainring, probably the teeth are worn and won't release the chain cleanly see attached photo from another post

    TrueTone spacers (I meant TruTune)

I recently fitted a Trutune insert into my Fox 38 grip performance, a real revelation! I followed Trutune's set up recommendations and my fork is now so supple off the bottom and better supported mid-range. As I am a big guy (250lbs) I need to run a high pressure in my forks to get the desired...

    Brake advise.

My Mondraker Crafty R came specced with Sram db8's, I swapped the levers for Shimano M6100 and changed rotors to Galfer wave, the strongest brakes I've ever had.

    Shimano chain, Sram cassette

I have a few spare Shimano chains from a previous emtb, my current bike has a Sram cassette, will the Shimano chains be compatible?
