    Bike Storage Rack

I have a mix of these and the steady racks. The steady racks are way more expensive but worth it imo. The ones above really dont allow you to move the bike out of the way if you ahve multiples hung up

    Not working BT-8036 battery wanted

Hi guys, this might sound random but I am after a bt-8036 that is dead. I just want the housing from it basically to run my bike on uplifts to save a bit of weight as I don't need the electric assist. Anyone got one? Thanks

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

There are literally tens of thousands of Shimano bikes out there. Once they are out of warranty if I had a choice of something more reliable I would be buying that to replace the shimano. Why would I spend £1k on another shimano motor knowing its probably only going to last a limited time? Thats...

Vitus E-Mythique LT Enduro EMTB - Bargain of the year

I built a hardtail commuter bike around a bafang mid drive motor a few years ago. The motor was bombproof even at 160nm! Bafang need to make this motor fit existing shimano EP8 Frames and sell the swap kit for the out of warranty bikes

    Second hand bikes - depreciation

I think in the last few years there has been an influx of new riders that got used to prices being high on the used market. All that I see has happened is that the value of used bikes has gone back to what it always was, the issue being now that people are losing a small fortune as the prices...

    EP8 lead times

June so I am told by the dealer....pretty annoyed about it. Also Shimano dont extend your warranty, so when it breaks and takes 3 months to sort you are 3 months down on your warranty. I think I might be done with ebikes after this one. Its not worth the hassle of not being able to ride.

    EP8 lead times

Hi, does anyone know what the ep8s are like for availability at the minute? Got it booked in at the shop with an E010 error..... Thanks

    frame protection..

I'd recommend Jake at snakeskin wrapping. He will fully wrap a bike for you with a custom computer cut wrap that is probably not much more than a ride wrap or invisi frame kit

Anyone got a faulty 8036 or 8035-L battery?

Hi all, this might seem like a very random request.....has anyone got one of these batteries that is completely knackered and beyond repair? I'm after one to remove and bin the cells so I can use the housing to just fit into the frame for uplift days to seal it off. I'm basically above the...

    Waterproof winter gloves

I have never done anything special and it hasn't caused me an issue. Presume there is probably a formal process. They are a weird material, quite stiff, so its not like you are just relying on a coating or something.

    Emtb motor ground clearance

The new orange Phase probably has the best solution. It has a proper stainless steel plate under and they have rotated the motor up. I very rarely catch mine now, on my old Vitus the motor used to regularly take a right beating.

    Waterproof winter gloves

Another vote for anything sealskinz here. I have used their gloves and socks for years. You really cant go wrong.

Comment by 'mike425' in article 'Am I a fat guy?'

For me the ideal would be for the weight of the full power bikes to come down. I used to race downhill and when I started DH bikes were easily 45lbs, I even at one point had a Brooklyn TMX knocking on 50lbs. If they could get the full fat bikes down to 20KG or there abouts I don't think I would...

    Bafang motor systems

I built my own frame around the bafang G510 motor for commuting on. TBH for that purpose it is great. My main gripe which seems to be common across them all if you have used shimano/bosch is that the drag on the motors is significant.

The What kind of Rider are you - Tyre thread ..

I'm really impressed grip wise with the Michelin dh22's, from pure grip I would say they are the best tyres I've used over the years. But......they roll rediculously slowly, to the point if you do any form of uphill / level ground with them it feels like something is wrong with the bike!

My local trek shop told me the same thing so I just went elsewhere.

The loser of the test: Trek Rail 9.9.

I think in this day and age you have to take all product reviews with a massive amount of salt. The social media presence on a lot of these guys doing reviews means they are probably open to taking insentives to give biased opinions based on their reach with stuff like YouTube. Personally...

2022 Heckler Recall: "Battery could fall out".

Does anyone have an actual photo of the faulty part? Is it a santa cruz part, or a shimano one? Thanks
