£6,500 for new Comp. So why not this price or even lower from the beginning 2.5 years ago? Then they wouldn’t have ended up with a wharehouse full of stock and had to delay the launch by 12 months.
Some people, me included, have experienced cut off unless the rubber band is over the plug. I’m aware that Specialized photos show it around the cage. I still had problems recently even with the rubber band over the plug but since releasing the connection cable from its slot in the battery...
The rubber band was designed to go round the plug and not the bottle cage. I see so many with this incorrectly positioned. Got this from a Specialized manager.
Kenevo SL unchanged for quite a while apparently.
As I see it with the LSL, Specialized would have had two choices:
Keep the same power and size of battery but reduce weight.
Add power and larger battery ( as demanded by Joe Public) and try and keep the weight the same.
The current model is already very good, with good kinematics. I would expect a steeper seat tube and longer front end, a slight increase in power (35 is already good in my book) so the battery size will be increased accordingly. 45/400? I imagine that they have worked hard to keep the weight to...
Thanks for the review. How do you arrive at the width?
What elastomer do you find works best?
A tester found the Infinergy version had problems with the cover material sticking to his shorts, so suggested normal version.
You can get one version discounted to £220. I wonder how tough it is going to be in crashes? I have the Power Mimic and that’s pretty good, only 3 rides in so far. BY Sagma or SQ Labs 60X are possibly good options as well
Definitely complete wrap imo. Also down tube protection like Rockstop is advisable. If riding really rocky stuff then there is a French company that does a very tough looking motor and downtube protector but it’s a lot more money. I can’t remember the name of it but there is a thread on it...
