E-Tube Ride or E-Tube Project? Maybe it depends on the year but this was not the case on my 2023 M-Team. E-Tube Project only showed the internal battery. The app behavior with the range extender was to show 100%-60% SOC and, once it switched to the internal battery, it would show 100% SOC again...

You know the diameter/package of the 600wh battery is the same right? The 800wh is just longer.

One other thing to keep in mind with DJI: no range extender. I'm sure they'll have one some day but it's a big damper (for me) as I'd want the 600wh battery (my current Bosch build is ~46 lbs).

Doesn't have anything to do with quality or performance in this case, it's about import fees and how the product is categorized. Selling frames is way harder than selling a full bike.

Sorry for the necro post, but this is not quite correct. The XTR shifter allows you to upshift 2 gears at a time. It's a small difference but a nice feature.

Was chatting with Troydon about the range extender and it turns out I was wrong, the port cover *is* more or less generic. It's a Bosch design. The stock one has a Crestline logo but many others should fit.

One thing to note about the 400wh battery is you won't get max power. Troyden said it's great for bike park days where you need minimal assist but it won't work for blasting shorter turbo rides.

They are all proprietary, never seen anything like a generic cover (though you can find aftermarket covers sometimes but they will still be bike-specific). Did you try contacting Crestline? They sent 3 covers with my first frame (on accident, was supposed to be two) and 2 with my second frame so...

There's no PDF but it's the second easiest frame I've ever built (with the 2024 model being the easiest :) ). Also make sure to reach out to Crestline if you have any issues, they are very responsive and helpful.
