It lost communication with the speed sensor so after a few minutes I got yellow led’s followed by total loss of power, this was fixed by replacing the plastic speed sensor cover with the newer version that Santa Cruz have designed, apparently the old version was too thick…. Which is a bit crazy...

That’s good to hear, mine has been in the shop being repaired for 20 days, I bought it 3 days before that, beyond a joke tbh

Yeah I will try, thing is the weather has been decent here whilst it’s been in the shop so it’s just doing my head in, can’t face losing a summer due to teething issues…..

Have owned my HSL for 8 days, rode it twice, been in the workshop for 6 days with an error code. Not a lot of faith going forward with this bike tbh

Probably a stupid question but when the ride 60 motor is replaced under warranty will the replacement motor also have a 2 year warranty? I have a Heckler SL on order and am having some doubts when reading the horror stories….

Forgot to update this….. so it was the battery, bike was three months (ish) out of warranty so couldnt get a replacement on warranty claim but YT UK did agree to replace the battery for ‘free’ if i got the bike serviced by them. The service cost around £600 if memory serves me correct...

Update…. The battery is the issue, I’m not getting much joy on here but any help would be greatly appreciated. Put my friends Decoy battery in my bike and all is working fine. Am I looking at a new battery?

Managed to get it connected to stunlocker and got these error codes. Still stuck on the steps screen.

Went for a ride out the other night, when I turned it on it kept trying to turn on then cutting out straight away, eventually got it on at about the 5th attempt. Went out for a pedal, did a couple of decent climbs all worked ok then got to a fast bit of single track and got an e020 error, bike...
