Anyone popped a 27.5 wheel in the back to try it as a mullet? I had a go on a freinds 2022 crafty SL and it feels amazing in very respect, although cornering Round steep tight switchbscks felt quite difficult coming off a Megawatt.

i’m waiting for my E2, currently riding a megawatt with the same weight, motor and battery.
the most I’ve got out of it is 1600m and 43km using eco only (in the summer) and I weigh 90kg.
i occasionally do this distance/altitude on my normal bike but it would take about 1.5hrs longer.
I’ve really struggled with my fox 38s on my megawatt. I was advised to run little sag, around 15%, I’m used to running 20-25% and this weirdly helped. Removed all spacer tokens too. No HSC and about 6 clicks of LSC. Then rebound just trial and error. I’ve got them as good as I can, but still...

Went to pick up my E2 large yesterday, and it felt small for its size. My transition scout is also 485mm reach and this feels much bigger. I sat on an XL E1 demo bike (didn’t know they had demos!) and felt much better. So the wait continues for an XL sometime in the summer/autumn.

thats a new top cap, i checked a few months ago to see if they made alternative ones with no hole (so I could drill my own holes) and the standard massive gaping one was the only one available.

Hi Rob, while you’re waiting for him to reply, I believe haibike make a 1.8-1.5” crown reducer now. Just like in the old days when you needed a 1.5-1&1/8 crown reducer to use a straight steerer in a tapered frame
630s are mega bucks. Plus you have to remount the battery holder everytime you change between 630 and 500. I’d just get another 500 and have 1000...
or send it back and get an elite, which is nearly the same price as a comp+ 630 batt
