Have the same 2019 Trance 2 w/the Speedbox installed since new. No battery issues at this point. How wet has this battery gotten just out of curiosity? I dont ride in the wet, as i dont like the lack of water proving this bike has shown me.
Its a 2019 Trance 2. 160mm is certainly stretching it, but maybe its Ok? I certainly dont know that. Ive only heard the max is 20mm above the designed rake.
Certainly not a downhill spec as the head angle is not really close to a downhill nor this the rear suspension potential anywhere near...
No doubt the 20mm added front end changes the geometry. Its more Enduro set now. Totally love both the rear & front Marzocci coil setup
This pic was taken on Friday out in the hills
Sure, 20mm is the max upswing allowed on most frames from what ive been told. I too have gone from 150 to 170 & what a positive change. Went with the Marzocchi Z1 coil as im sure you can appreciate?
Nice job w/that wireless upgrade(y)
Ive got a 2019 E-Trance & youre right about the derailleur cable rub on the lower swing arm. But for some reason these wireless derailleurs bother me in regards to another complexity i prefer not to change over to yet
Cheers, Joe
One of my riding partners rides a 2017 Trance w/5000 miles (8046kms) on the OE motor (never changed & still going today)
Ive only got 1500 miles (2414kms)
That Spank 350 Rim has only a 30.5mm internal width. If it were me, id stick w/the wider 35mm internal width. Also, not a fan of the 29'r thing. Maybe its just the look of these super large wheels, but unlikely i will ever convert to them.
On our Trances the front Praxis sprocket requires the chain to be properly indexed onto the specific cogs. Your sprocket appears diff than ours but check that the chain doesnt need a proper index
Tough call there Steve. They are close in what they both offer (sort of). Same chain stay length but the Reign does have that slacker front end (64.5 vs 66.5) which makes it more Enduro friendly. Better component spec & longer travel front & rear. FYI / Ive pretty much converted by...
