Hi there, I had the same problem with my Bosch Gen 4. Turns out it was the mounting plates on the motor. You need to drop the motor, loosen the bolts (8) one by one but not all the way, put a drop of Loctite blue on and then torque to 2Nm.

Hi Greg, Thanks for all the above info. I have successfully installed the Race Face 36T 55mm chain line chainring. The only additional thing was to put 2 washers behind the e Thirteen chainguard to prevent chain rub.

I am contemplating changing the chainring on my Trek Rail 7 aluminium frame with a Bosch Gen 4 CX non smart motor. At the moment I'm running a Pilo 34t ring, I don't know what offset or chain line it is, but it is running pretty close to the chain stay. I am thinking of a Race Face replacement...
