Bought the Cycplus AS2 ultra inflator. So small yet can inflate 3 tyres and recharge in 25 minutes.

Just fitted the preload kit yesterday and do notice the difference as the noise from the pivot has stopped. Good advice from Rod B.

I've owned an Orbea Rise for close to 4 years with no rattle or any other motor issues whatsoever. Just recently changed the main electrical harness so hopefully get another few years.

I ended up ordering the Cascade Components, Orbea Rise Pre-Load kit. Quite expensive ($88 incl postage) in the UK as I needed to order it from US.

A waterless wash works really well on mountain bikes. I've used Muc off waterless wash for a number of years now ( Winstanley bikes are doing the 5 litre for 60% off).

Last year I bought Bertschat heated bicycle gloves, as I get really cold hands during the winter months. I only use them when temperature falls below freezing. They are a bit bulky but no more than my ski gloves. I generally use them at low/med heat setting which is good enough for a few hours...

On your advice I've decided to replace the main power harness as well as the power switch harness. I ordered it today and plan to fit this at the same time as replacing the pivot bearings even although the bearings are still quite good . It makes sense to have these jobs done before the Spring .

I fitted the new power button + cable this morning and now it's consistently switching on.

Mine arrived today and just like other 5 tens I needed to go up half size. Perfect fit and really comfortable. Thanks again irie for posting the link.

I've a few pairs of 5 Tens and always go half size bigger. Shoe size 9 UK but 9.5 UK in 5 Tens. Just ordered a pair at 9.5 this morning.

I had to order a new set of mounting bolts for my Shimano RS motor on my Orbea Rise. When tightening the to 12nm one of the heads came clean off, unfortunately you need to buy a full mounting set
