Current Avinox MG Prototype Bikes Don't Support Battery Regen

Maybe I’m understanding your idea wrong, but you wouldn’t want any disconnect/delay from the mechanical braking. This seems like you’d be relying on motor resistance for braking and it’s not good enough/strong enough to stop a bike on fast dh. Many times I want to touch my brake and the bike...

    Bullit e13 OEM Hub Experiences

Are they the sidekick hubs? If so I love mine on my reserve wheelset.

Anyone have any information or rumors on an AVINOX 900+wh battery?

I have the new 700wh and have held it side by side with the 800. It’s pretty incredible how much lighter it feels in hand and how slim it is. Idk the numbers, should have weighed them, but sold the bike that had the 800.

Crestline RS 181.2 thread – builds, reviews, technical info

this is all so interesting to hear. I had 17% sag with no token on the new zeb and found myself blowing through travel. I’m only 155lbs. Had to put a token in and it’s now feeling much much better. Have it around 19-20% sag now. Also have to have rebound close to full fast (I think I’m 1-2 click...

Crestline x DJI - RS 181 SPECTRE Edition

I think a lot of ppl annoyed with you (with me too probably lol). If we find out frame was clamped and then broke in a separate incident would you feel the same? Maybe that’s the case and owner/troydon are aware and came to an agreement. Troydon is top notch. I’ve personally texted him and have...

Crestline x DJI - RS 181 SPECTRE Edition

Brotha just stick to your Levo you been thinking hard about Orbea too with a lot to say about that bike as well The guy probably clamped it. We don’t know the full story here. Owner doesn’t seem too worked up about it so maybe he knows something we don’t (like frame clamping). Theres 1 EMTB...

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

@Rob Rides EMTB is this true? Most influencers are probably saying yes they were given the bike to review, but that doesn’t mean keep forever. They usually have to send these bikes back. I’d be very surprised if they’re giving away absolutely free bikes to every influencer lol. Maybe I’m wrong...

2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

I don’t think this is very true. Sure they aren’t giving bikes away, most manufacturers aren’t. The influencers have to send them back or pay if they want to keep. What bike company is straight up giving away the bikes to influencers? They aren’t bucking any trend. Rob posted a pic of a special...

Any evidence of good engineering regarding waterproofing?

https://www.instagram.com/reel/Da5JtP6NvI5/?igsh=cTVpamlxb3E5Y2M= Amflow just posted this video of “how to wash the bike”. Straight light pressure washing the whole thing so I think they’re confident in it

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Close, it’s a dong mount. The rest of that day wasn’t interesting. Jk yeah chest mount. Looks crap I know. I have a 360 cam and an action 6. Action 6 looks better but wanted to try 360 again. Under visor on action 6 cuts out too much in wide mode, so I ordered a chin mount that should be here...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Little follow cam. Gonna go back to the action 6 and a chin mount next time. Under visor seems too high and doesn’t get enough even with boost lens, chin might be right hopefully.

Volume spacer in the zeb helped. Came with none and I’m only 155lbs, so if you’re heavier than me I’d especially recommend adding 1-2.

    Beware of update!

Just curious on how it’s helping your max trail speed? Curious also how it affects battery. It seems like a constant sensing and tensioning of the chainring would have at least some affect. Maybe negligible though

    Beware of update!

I can say since going sidekick hubs I def feel a solid difference in the free feeling of the suspension and lack of feedback to my feet. Especially in quick chatter. Rarely have to reposition feet on flats now. Cycling the suspension not moving you can see the cassette taking the chain tension...

Yeah it’s the chart troydon also sent me to go off. But your posting here is likely more spot on for those interested. Maybe troydon would be interested in seeing those numbers vs what the chart has to change it up.

Crestline RS 181.2 thread – builds, reviews, technical info

Just fyi my zeb came with no volume spacers in it from stock. I just put one in today. Also, the spring rate chart in this thread was pretty off for me. I’m 155lbs and it had me between a 400-450 for 30% at shock. 400 had me at around 26ish. 375 spring has me at 29% sag at shock.

ECVT/MGU: The Great Belt vs. Chain Debate

I’m on the mgu train, but for sure gonna wait for the issues to show when they first drop and the hype dies a little. I think time will just tell which is better. I’m not one to freak out if my bike breaks and I can’t ride a week or two. So imo I’ll just go with whatever bike is attached that...

I don’t have pics of it muddy, but it has been caked in mud quite a few times now. I’ll attach a pic of some crash damage (endo on lava rock). Would you guys change these carbon bars? I’ve still been sending it. Also, the white frame has excellent paint! Had another time bike fell on rock and...
