Sizing question - before I pull the trigger

I'm also 5'8" and i tried both the medium and large 2019 which were 435 and 455 respectively as the fork was slightly lower and bought the large, up until then I was always a medium as well. when discussing it with YT they stated many people were preferring larger sizes on the demo days. They...

    Ford Transit Custom

Hi Rob I've bought one but not the crew cab version and I love it, so glad I got it. We got it for days out with the bikes and/or dog and the priority was absolute ease with the bikes, just wanted to be able to push the bikes in and secure them, no messing. I now use it as my main car whilst...

Decisions Decisions Decisions Which Bike ???

I think that's definitely worth a try; earlier this year wheelbase were selling the Remedy 9.9 with £1000 off the RRP, I stated to my local Trek dealer that i'd rather buy locally but can't ignore that saving, could they match it? they said yes so i bought it locally. great bike. Good luck

Gone and Bought a New Bike Rack

I haven't had much time to work on it so haven't progressed much, but I have replaced the internal side panels with my own that I made out of plywood, I prefer them to the originals that were like an MDF type material, the plywood is a lot stronger. I've added 18mm hardwood ply floor as I...

    Decoy chain guide "advisory"

And it's still very misleading as it isn't being recalled in any way, shape or form. I have no idea why you would want to put something in the thread title that is totally untrue, but each to their own i suppose.

    Decoy chain guide "advisory"

That's a really misleading title, I received the same email today, they are advising you to thread lock the chain guide bolts as they may come loose.

    Mudguards for coming winter.

I use the RRP standard front mudguard which i really like, fairly unobtrusive but keeps the water and mud out of your face really well. i don't currently use one on the rear. First picture shows in on my 29" Decoy, the second on my 27.5" Remedy.

Possible stupid question around charging E-bikes

Yes, you'll need a 12v to 240v inverter that's a little more powerful than what you linked to, 250w or above will do, but i wouldn't get one that connects to a 12v socket as most sockets are only rated at 10amps meaning a maximum of around 120w, better to get one that connects straight to the...

Circumference number in etube or steps unlocked??

I don't remember what mine was from the factory but I do remember that it was incorrect, if you want an accurate value; measure the roll out (circumference) of the wheel which has the sensor on and add that correct value in order to get the correct speed and distance, don't assume GPS is...

Vans, who's got a van just for adventuring?

0.8 amps is about right for ~240 volt uk supply as it's around 190 watts. The charger will accept a voltage range input, probably 100 - 240 and has a max amp draw of 2.5, the max amps is drawn when at the lowest voltage as the energy required is in watts, therefore 100v may draw towards 2.5...

Unanswered Can the Thule UpRide be used with standard RRP front mudguard

Interested in the Thule UpRide rack that clamps the bike by the front wheel, but only if I could leave my RRP ProGuard Standard front mudguard permanently in place, would be used on both 27.5 and 29 inch bikes. Anyone know for definite if it fits? Thule UpRide RapidRacerProducts | ProGuard Thanks
