Ride 60 Battery Rider to Rider battery rental

Ok so as there was overwhelming response I have ordered 10 batteries! Ok jokes aside I have one and at the moment it is based in Melbourne Victoria, Australia if someone else has a trip planned, it's a ferry ride away from Tasmania!

Ride 60 Battery Rider to Rider battery rental

Hi All, Not sure how many people will see this but for those riders globally who have a Fazua Ride 60 bike with a removable battery I wonder how many would be interested in joining a global rider to rider battery rental network? I like to travel with my bike and at this stage I'm not aware of...

Going from an SL to full Ebike questions

I have a relay and a Norco Sight VLT. I love the relay, the Norco has literally not been ridden since I got the relay. It is a bit down on power for sure but after a few months I feel like I have more or less adjusted to it. Wouldn't go back. It's only 2-3 kilos but it makes a significant ride...

Comment by 'downunderdallas' in article 'The new Santa Cruz Heckler SL is out...'

it's only about 600gm motor weight from EP8 plus 70wh of battery weight so should only be about 1kg lighter with same components and similar frame weights.

Transition Relay Owners how's the bike?

OK 4 rides in loving the relay! I ride almost exclusively with other ebikes and have found keeping up ok despite the fact I am probably the least fit. Will depend how far you ride I guess but our rides are usually around 800-1100m vertical. Don't see anywhere I can get a spare battery here but I...

    My Relay rocks

I've only had two rides on mine haven't noticed any noises really even the EXT coil that I put on was meant to be noisy I haven't noticed so maybe I'm just not observant. Seems quieter than my old Norco VLT. Am loving how the bike rides although right twisty terrain is more challenging on this...

Transition Relay Owners how's the bike?

I couldn't manual my 12kg trail bike or my 22kg ebike so I am not expecting the relay to be any different :)

new lightweight ebike from transition - the relay

The Orbea has a really light frame so any lightweight at the same spec is never going to be much if any more than 2 kg lighter with something like a Fazua.

new lightweight ebike from transition - the relay

Agreed Orbea frame is light, non removable battery. But also carbon wheels, light cassette other light weight components if you want to compare apples with apples - just boils down to what's important. If they made the Orbea in a Mullet it would be more tempting for me. I do like being able to...

new lightweight ebike from transition - the relay

Well there is 500-700g in the motor plus 1-1.5kg in the battery so the rest is the frame and build, it's not really a surprise ?

new lightweight ebike from transition - the relay

Thanks Rob, seems like basically a GX build to get the 19.5kg weight? Allow wheels/gx cassette/alloy bars?
