It's been a while but the last time i touched the dropper post i had to remove the motor... I think it was because the dropper post cable has a foam sleeve wrapped around it causing it to get snagged. So the only way to service the dropper post is to remove the motor?

Getting close to the 0.5% wear indicator for my XO t-type chain. I ride turbo most of the time and mash the harder gears. chain currently has 660 miles and expecting to replace it soon. I use the abbey chain wear tool to check for wear.

Maybe something shifted, I recommend doing the t-type setup again from the beginning and if that doesn't fix it, buy a new cage.

Wouldn't doing all this make the BB extremely low to the ground at bottom out on a bike that already has a low BB? I get the whole tinkering with stuff but at this point why not just get the crestline rs181 or the Velduro if more travel is needed?

Thanks for the reminder just checked mine and looks good enough for 150 miles. I installed hope brakes myself and it has a tiny bit of kink but it's working so....🤷‍♂️

Interesting. My S2 core 2 is 48.6 with the following aftermarket stuff, one up carbon bar, TR36 wheels, Tacky Chan/MM radial(both trail casing), e13 helix race alloy cranks(a little lighter than praxis cranks), RS lyrik/SD, X0 cassette, RF atlas pedals, Hope GR4 brakes. I think Forbidden's...

I use Dumond tech original chain lube. I have the X0 chain and it started dry grinding the first day but after putting some miles on the bike it's less noticeable now.

Just take a look at the pawl springs if they have a cut then your freehub body was possibility switched out or something. The e-bike version has solid pawl springs.

Agree, I've been trying to adapt but it's not easy coming from a four bar Levo SL. For the stem I'm on the stock oneup stem. I think a longer one would help me more than a shorter stem.

Now that the honey moon is over. I feel like the high stack makes the front end feel vague sometimes and it also makes the front end get knocked side to side in chunk. I've already taken off 10mm of headset spacers(bike came stock with 25mm) and that has helped somewhat. Next thing I want to try...

Did you bump the front travel to 160mm? I feel like that balances the bike better even with the lite's 140mm rear. Makes me wonder how good the core would be with 170mm up front but that may make the cockpit feel cramped.

I orded the longer power lever from a US dealer... we'll see how that goes.

The dead stroke has been significantly reduced on the GR4 but I'm pretty sure you'll still like them. I do miss the longer lever from the v4 though.
