The Shit Flap - Canyon Strive ON

Ayup Weeksy. Not yet. Been away almost solidly for the last 5 weeks on freelance jobs. I'm back now for the next few days so I'll make a pattern and prototype

    Strive:ON problems

My friend Andy has the same bike (I have the green CFR and he has the Underdog CFR). He also has the new latch fitted after some issues with the original item and hasn't had any problems with battery disconnects since swapping

    Strive:ON problems

With the redesigned latch I've had absolutely no problems at all. The achilles heal of this bike has been fixed. It's a great bike now. I wouldn't hesitate getting one with the discounts available

The Shit Flap - Canyon Strive ON

Are you the same Weeksy as from the old UK KTM Forum by any chance?

The Shit Flap - Canyon Strive ON

Hi everyone. I've been asked by lots of members of this forum and the EMTB Strive:ON Facebook group if there'll be another production run of the Shit Flaps. Is there anyone that missed out last time that would like me to produce a new batch?

    2024 Strive:ON

Yep. Same model. The stock rotors are fine as far as stopping goes but the noise under braking and the rubbing when off the brakes on descents is off putting to me

    2024 Strive:ON

I found the OEM rotor on the front to be very flexible and noisy. I swapped to a thicker Galfer rotor and it was way better. No more flex and noise on descents and also much, much quieter under braking too

    change stem on strive:on cfr

The cable routing is through the headset, so essentially separate to the stem. Shouldn't be any issues with swapping the stem. You'll likely just have to swap the spacers for traditional round items

    Strive:ON problems

Me neither. The weather has been so wet in recent weeks that my planned route in the Peaks would have been nothing but a slop fest. Fingers crossed for a dry, windy week to dry out the ground

Just updated the app. I was on a late 1.17 version. Looking forward to checking it out ready for a ride in the Peaks on Tuesday

    Strive:ON problems

I have looked at the Hope cranks as 155mm is my preferred length to try. Was hoping there’d be a 155mm option from E*Thirteen. Anyone else know of compatible 155mm cranks other than Hope?

    Strive:ON problems

I have the new latch with Tobias’s fix and have had no issues at all. The bike is pretty much flawless for me now. Shorter cranks are next and that’ll be it done

    2024 Strive:ON

I still run the standard stem. But, I’ve seen a few pictures and posts of people running conventional shaped stems and spacers with no problems

    2024 Strive:ON

Done a couple of rides now with the CushCore installed and I have to say I like it (initially I was sceptical and worried about adding more rotating mass to the rear wheel). There's the obvious rim protection that I value but I love the feeling of it. The feeling of it acting as a volume reducer...
