If the battery can be killed in a test, it probably may also suffer a "natural death" during a long ride, normally at the most remote location of the track. So if the test kills the battery, it is uncovering a battery issue and saving you the hassle.
Well, that's my opinion and I may be wrong.
I bought also the Moterra Neo 3, but I "transplanted" some components, donor was my previous bike, components are: Fork Fox 36 Factory Grip2, brakes Magura MT7. I also bought wheels DT Swiss 1700HX (Not yet mounted), and shock Fox Float X Factory from ebay USA. Now, it is perfect.
And yes, it...
Also check opinions about Motor brands: Shimano vs Bosch. There are a lot.
During 5 years I had a Shimano motor and 4 different Shimano batteries (This is a clue), and then I decided to switch brand and now I own a Cannondale Moterra with Bosch Motor, 750Wh battery, and soon a 250Wh Range...
You are reading it right and the battery mock up has a body length of 200mm, which is the dimension specified by Bosch.
I removed the air from the current shock and bottomed it out, and the shock does not get any closer to the PowerMore.
A few days ago I checked Bosch web page, and I belive that dimension there was 218mm, I checked today again and dimensionis now 200mm.

With this PowewrMore length of 200mm, Float X mounted upwards should fit with a margin of around 7mm...
I forgot that Shock eyelets are rotated 180ª, so when placing the shock upside down, the piggyback reservoir is rotated to the right, I tested the fit and the interference is similar, but I do not like it. This time I did not feel like making sawdust, so I used Photoshop.
So I still have my...
I am willing to buy a new shock Fox Float X for my eBike, but as in the future I may buy Bosch PowerMore, first I want to check that both will fit in my bike, because Float X has a piggyback reservoir that my current Rock Shox does not have.
So I got the Float X dimensions from a Fox...
I had this error E020, and it was caused by the "clip" contacts in the battery, which is the most probable cause, although it can also be caused by a broken or pinched wire, motor connector or motor electronics.
Good Luck!!
Not in Spain yet.
A few days ago I was told by Bosch that it was coming a FW upgrade that would bring Dual Battery back to Smartsystem, but it requires to be configured by ebike manufacturer.
80% at 500 cycles is very good compared to the real Shimano batteries.
I had a Shimano 504Wh BT-E8010 that after 80 Cycles had a degradation of 76%, then Shimano removed the degradation number from etube diagnostic after V4.0.3 .
But it still could be read using STunlocker, and take into...
Bosch reponse is that DUAL BATTERY depends on bike manufacturer:
Thank you for contacting Bosch eBike.
Regarding your query, an update will soon be released that will allow the dual battery to be used on Smart System electric bicycles.
To find out if installation or compatibility with your...
I thought that it was not possible to connect a DUAL Battery in Smartsystem, but according shop ebike24 Q&A, it is possible.
Has anybody tried it?
Question to EBIKE24: I have a 2023 ebike with a Bosch Smartsystem 2023 system, Bosch BDU3740 motor and I would like to know if it is possible to...
It is easy to check which theory is correct, whether Powermore Extender can work or not alone (Without Main Battery) in a ebike with POWERMORE READY = NO. To test it, we should proceed the following way, but as Powermore Extender has not been released yet we should wait until it is released...
