    Newbie with headset reducer issue

I know these bikes s I have a gen2 Range Vlt that has the same headset (1.8" lower bearing.) I've not had issues with the headset knocking but wonder if your stem-cap is not tightening against the bearing / stem spacers but actually tightening against the steerer-tube so needing a little more...

What did you do to your EBike this week?

I've yet to describe a fox product as excellent, good or ok maybe but theres other brands I use:unsure: I have a few fox transfer droppers, not in bikes but in emergancy spares (wrong sizes for my bikes so redundant & I dont like their tendancy to 'stick') we do have 4 x Oneup v2 dropper...

What did you buy your ebike this week?

unless your foot slips foreward (on the verry grippy pins) thats not going to happen as they naturally bias you to 'heel down' that does happen, pedals with good / new bearings naturally revert to pins upwards but greased or worn out bearings can slow and drag the rotation😶

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Received my order from Outlier (in Canada) today😎 new pair of pendulum pedals, spare axles and a bearing kit 😎 So I’ll rebuild my original (year old) pair of pendulum’s and ride the new set 😎 Also, bought a toolbox from Halfords to store the cycle tools and spares - well some of them 🤡...

    Bars and clamps

yes, 1-1/8" steerer tube where the top headset bearing and the stem / spacers fit(y) beware of the world of aftermarket financial irresponsibility as it is there for you to enjoy  I've just bought one of DMR's Odub 65mm riser bars (31.8 mm clamp)

Torn between a couple of bikes

I'll agree that the gen2 (what I have) is a bit of a bruiser but it's a downhill weapon :p the newest (gen4) is essentially the same frame split into different travel options with the Range being the longest travel option:unsure:

    Trail Etiquette ..!!!!

is there 'trail etiquette' NO:mad: (from a bikepark point of view) theres plenty of self-importnt fuckwits that are way more important than everyone else and have a gods-given right to block trailheads (sometimes to take photo's for grinder 🤷‍♂️), stop anywhere for a chat / repair...

What did you do to your EBike this week?

I spied the tape and understand its use, suppose an 'O' ring could have been used but tape is cheap & easy to asemble (y) Rich.

Torn between a couple of bikes

As the owner of a Norco I'm slightly biased BUT I'll definately buy another  what gen Range (option 2) and what model is the option 3? also, if you do go with Norco, they have the 'Ride Aligned' interactive setup guide that really is good:cool: https://www.ridealigned.com/

What did you do to your EBike this week?

So, today I’m getting brave and servicing a secondhand 240mm Oneup dropper post I captured on eBay, Oneup have discontinued the V2 droppers and they’re not restocking spares so I actually bought the seal / slide bearing kit from eBay (although Oneup have other parts in their Webshop)...

What did you buy your ebike this week?

a set (4 off) of 7902 bearings to replace the set in my Pendulum pedals as they're not just noisy but actually have side to side movement now:oops: not bad for a year's riding in Welsh weather - they have had their seals stripped off and races washed out / re-oiled about 10 times:whistle:

Anyone riding the Manitou Mezzer Pro?

I've been running Mezzer Pro (& expert) forks on ebikes @ 170 & 180mm (in trail but mostly park) for a few years, only problem I've had is that I dont rate the other brands offerings :p I'm able to compare against Zeb ultimate (with buttercups), Fox38 factory etc. and Ohlins rfx38 - all @...
