Small claims was suffient. Very easy to navigate the forms and submit. Cost me £110, good thing is that you clain in your local court so if it goes to court the defendant has to have representation in your court.. Cost to them are far higher and should result in a settlement

Agreed, I went though 3 frames in 12 months. Not too due if there are issues now. All 8 can say of the frame didn't snap then I loved the bike

Fully agree, lockdown is an excuse that is given out readily by bike shops at the moment, in the same breath they also say how busy they are and business is booming, customer service is only customer service when your bike goes wrong and they are happy and polite in dealing then rectifying your...

It really is up to you, but it is an indication of the customer service from the bike shop, if they aren't too bothered about this then imagine how difficult it will be to pop a claim in against the warranty on motor or any other mechanicals - I would send it back, if they didn't accept then...

Don't open the motor, take the covers off and spray.. Brose, shimano both have went due to water ingress

Not to open the motor but just use the ACF-50 on the parts that can be seen by the water, if you can see it so can the water...

Fantic integra xf 180 - Brose motor 4 months old with 650 miles, suspected water ingress and blown pcb, bike now sent off for repair - assuming it will be a warranty job but you never know - I am sure they will try everything to wriggle out of it....very quick to take your cahs but not as quick...

I strip sown and clean every Saturday, 300 miles max before I'm at 0.75 on the chain checker tool. Learned the hard way had to replace the cassette, front chain ring and chain after 609 miles. Get used to checking or it will cost you a fortune

If they are on shitty shopping bikes and drinking the chances of them catching you on the ebike are nil, I wouldn't be worrying about it, just continue riding ?
