    House Insurance or bike specific?

I went with M&S as they were recommended on here for contents insurance. They work out a coat for the most expensive bike but any lesser value bikes are automatically covered as well. Must be kept in a locked room / garage

I’ve come to the dark side of dark sides but am excited to be able to get back out in proper mountains and hills again.

Just as a side line I've travelled from the UK to Lithuania and had my first hip replacement yesterday at the Nord Orthopedic Clinic there. They have a massive following online and a patient support group where you can chat to previous and current patients to answer any questions. I am not...

[POLL] Hanging an eMTB by it's dropper post in a workshop stand?

E for me. I also use a false cross bar from seatpost to head tube which I find so much easier to get the bike on the stand

    New Whyte e-Lyte anyone ?

I have a Whyte e160 rs and have had an issue with it's weight a few times. Once when there were stiles to cross on a trail and another time there was a swing gate. I really struggled to lift it over both obstacles 🙄

    Goggles or glasses

I had a pair of sports glasses made with just my distance prescription which are fine until you realise how much you look at your phone, signposts for directions and can't read them. My daily glasses are pretty small so I can get the fit with the OTG goggles but they take a bit of adjustment.

    Goggles or glasses

I wear varifocal prescription glasses so have struggled finding a riding solution other than just wearing my normal glasses. The trouble with varifocal lenses is they don't work in wrap around frames. I've resorted to using 100% over the glasses goggles. They take a bit of positioning at the...

Anyone have any tips for Tennis Elbow recovery?

I have a dog walking business and got it from dogs pulling on leads particularly by pulling across my body as opposed to out in front. Went to a private physio and within 5 mins she had the needles in my arm. After that she taped my arm so that the muscle was basically rolled across from outside...

    Trial helmet for EMTB riding

I second that the Bell Super 3 is a great helmet and provides more coverage than a standard bike helmet. I have the detachable chin guard which attaches with ski type bindings so nice and secure. I like that it's a 2 in 1 helmet and I can carry the chin guard in my pack until needed

    Unanswered SRAM powerlinks for EMTB

I feel I'm going round in circles trying to find the correct SRAM powerlinks for my GX Eagle 12 speed chain. A lot of the ones I've found state for road use only. I was assuming for an emtb they would need to be a specifically stronger one due to the force generated by the motor. Can someone...

    GoPro handlebar mounting

Anybody got a link for the helmet strap type that sits under the sun visor on the helmet? I can only seem to find chin mounts or straps that go over the helmet so the mount is on top. I have the Bell Super 3 with detachable chin piece so a mount under the sun visor would work with or without the...

Pressure Washer ... is 25 bar too high?

When you get it if the hose leaks at the connections to the main unit or spray gun disconnect it and turn the hose around as it only connects in one direction. From experience when you've used it disconnect the hose and empty it back in to the unit and don't leave it in a van over winter as the...

Pressure Washer ... is 25 bar too high?

I have a Mobi 17 pressure washer, rechargeable battery or plugs into what used to be called the cigarette lighter. I use it for cleaning dogs as I have a dog walking business and the pressure can be adjusted down to a fine mist which works for the dogs and my emtb. As always treat the motor area...

Thule EasyFold XT arm clamp position

I used the small clamp under the rear shock as in the photo Hobo Mikey posted above and it worked a treat. I'll try the long arm on the forks next time. Mine is a medium and the front wheel strap could do with being longer so I'll look into moving it, thanks
