E8000 Different battery level display between battery and head unit

Just recently I've been getting a different level between the battery and the head unit. They both start "full" but the head unit drops "blocks" quicker. I've not run the battery flay to see which one is correct. I do have different batteries and swap them around a wee bit. Any ideas?

    New 160 rumours

Take this with a pinch of salt but I've just heard from a Merida rep that the new 160s will have will have an internal down tube battery. Very vague on other details but he seemed very sure of this

    Shimano Parts delay

My left hand pedal arm has worked loose and worn the inside splines(on the pedal crank not the motor) TBH I had noticed some play but thought it was "normal" motor play as per previous threads and being an amputee I have an uneven power delivery so I accept I'm to blame. The part is labelled...

    Specialized reliability?

While I'm quite happy with my Merida/Giant combo at the moment I do like the idea of a Kenevo at some stage. Being an amputee cyclist I'm unable to stand on the pedals for too long which means I use more of the bikes suspension when hitting the techy stuff. The 180mm travel of the Kenevo...

    Giant Dirt E +1 breakdown

I recently purchased a low use(100miles) ex demo Dirt E. I like the bike very much but out today the screen went blank and all assistance stopped. Various button pressing and battery in and out failed to fix it so I popped it back to the dealers(Pedal Power West Calder). The display had stopped...

    Scottish Amputee

Hi All Dipped into ebiking a few years ago but the tech wasnt quite up to my requirements but I bought a Merida 800e just over a year ago and its totally changed how I cycle. Doubled my mileage and enabled me to tackle things my lack of a low limb prevented me from doing before. I recently...
